Our Wisconsin Public Media Code of Ethics reflects the core principles that guide our work, and helps ensure that content from PBS Wisconsin and Wisconsin Public Radio is not influenced by outside interests, commercial pressures, political influences or the personal perspectives of its staff.
Fairness and Accuracy
To ensure impartiality, fairness and accuracy in PBS Wisconsin and Wisconsin Public Radio news and public affairs programming WPM uses Editorial Practices for Ensuring Fairness and Accuracy.
Disclosure
Transparency is at the forefront of everything we produce. The WPM Disclosure Policy governs the disclosure of situations where content involves issues that are related to individuals with personal connections to editorial staff or institutions with organization affiliations with PBS Wisconsin and/or Wisconsin Public Radio.
